Hello! My name is Sarah Page and I am excited to start this school year with you! I will be heading into my 17th year of teaching, and my 8th year of teaching at CCE. I obtained my B.S. in Elementary Education from New Mexico State University and prior to moving to Colorado, I taught 2nd and 3rd grade in New Mexico. I enjoy teaching the primary grades, and first grade is one of my favorites! First graders are so fun to work with and I enjoy seeing how much they learn and grow throughout the year.
When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family which includes my husband, two children, two dogs, and a cat. My children are both involved in Scouting, so we spend a lot of time outdoors camping, hiking, and enjoying nature. Some of my other favorite activities are reading, crafting, and cooking.
I know we are going to have a great year full of learning and fun! I am looking forward to meeting all of you!
Hello! My name is Kara Ryman and I am excited to be joining the first grade team and staff at Coyote Creek!
This will be my 4th year teaching first grade and my first at Coyote Creek! I spent the last 3 years teaching at St. Rose of Lima in Denver, CO. I obtained my MEd in Elementary Education from
the University of Northern Colorado.
Outside of teaching, I love spending time with my family and friends. I love hiking, biking, golfing and reading! I especially love going to Avalanche games and an occasional baseball game when the
Yankees are in town!
I feel very blessed to be a part of the CCE community. I look forward to meeting each and every single one of you! It is going to be an awesome year of learning and fun in 1st grade!
Hello! My name is Taylor Vaninger and I can’t wait for this school year to kick off! This is my first year teaching first grade, and I am so excited. I just graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with my elementary education degree and spent the last year student teaching at Eiber Elementary School with JEFFCO. I grew up in Highlands Ranch and I can’t wait to come back to a community I love so much.
Outside of teaching I love spending time with my family which consists of my husband, Danny who is a firefighter for South Metro, and our fur baby, Red, who is a golden retriever. We are both Colorado natives so we love taking advantage of our beautiful state! We love to go camping and snowboarding, and I love to garden, watch movies, and hike. We just got married this July in Granby, so we are enjoying the peace and quiet from all the wedding fun!
I can’t wait for this school year, I know we are going to learn so much and have fun doing it!
Hello! I am looking forward to teaching first grade at CCE this year! I wanted to share a little bit about myself before starting this journey together.
This will be my sixteenth year of teaching, and my sixth here at Coyote Creek! I hold a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in teaching English as a second language. As a lifelong learner, I love to continue my experiences as a student as well. I hold credentials in Early Childhood Education from Metropolitan State University of Denver, and recently I attained my Master's of Science Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
I am a proud mother of three beautiful children, and five adorable "fur" babies. My husband and I have been married for nine years, and we started our family with our two cats and three dogs. Our oldest son is five and will be in kindergarten at CCE this year! We also have a three year old boy, and a one year old girl! In my spare time, I own a photography business, and I like to dabble in scrapbooking, traveling, and finding new recipes and workouts on my health journey. I am a Colorado native, and I have always loved being outside!
The primary grade levels are so exciting, and integral to a student's journey in education. I am excited to focus on each child's whole growth; socially, emotionally, and academically. I am looking forward to getting to know all of you throughout the year, and to work as a team to have the best possible year in first grade!
