Hello and welcome to fifth grade at Coyote Creek! My name is Sara Dimon and I am looking forward to another great year! This is my fourth year in both Douglas County and at Coyote Creek Elementary. I have taught grades third through sixth in the past.
I am originally from Alabama and a 2001 graduate of Auburn University! (War Eagle!!) I have a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Psychology. I have been teaching for 16 years. My husband and I have been married for 13 years and have three children. During my time away from school, my family and I enjoy the mountains, skiing and SEC football.
I am looking forward to an awesome year of learning and fun.
Hi! My name is Sophorn Ven and I am so excited to get to know you and to be your teacher this year! I graduated from California State University Dominguez Hills with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies and a Minor in English Literature. Go Toros!
I’ve known since I was five years old that I wanted to be a teacher and I truly believe that teaching is my passion! I have taught for over eight years but this will be my first-year teaching 5th Grade at Coyote Creek. I previously taught middle school English and Reading in California which is also where I grew up.
My husband and I have been married for ten years and we have a five-year-old daughter, who will be starting kindergarten this year. We love hiking and finding new adventures to share as a family. I look forward to making new memories and sharing many adventures with you!
